Service Description
Join us for a fun and creative handbuilding pottery workshop—perfect for friends, hen parties, or team-building events! Suitable for groups of up to 12 people, this session offers a relaxed and enjoyable way to explore clay. During the workshop, you’ll craft a slab-built cup or small vase, adding your own personal touch with patterns and cut-outs to make each piece truly one of a kind. You can choose to return as a group for a glazing session or opt for one of our studio glazes, with finished pieces ready for collection after firing in approximately three weeks. Once you’ve selected your preferred date, you’ll receive confirmation of availability along with an invoice detailing payment information. Your booking is only secured once a £30 non-returnable deposit has been paid, with the remaining balance due on the day of the workshop. I am always happy to discuss other projects such as sculpted animals, plaques or other ideas but these do need to be planned accordingly.
Cancellation Policy
Bookings will only be considered booked once payment or deposit is taken. Before 4 weeks a non returnable deposit of £30 can be taken to secure the date. At 4 weeks before the workshop, full payment becomes due. Rescheduling up to 4 weeks before the workshop: Cancellations during this period will result in the loss of the deposit. The deposit and any additional fees paid may be transferred to a future date (subject to availability). Between 4 weeks and 24hrs deposit plus 20% of fees will be retained the remainder can be transferred to a future date or returned in the case of cancellation. On the day cancelations or no shows are non refundable. No-shows or same-day cancellations: These are considered forfeited bookings. No refunds or transfers will be issued. Firing & Material Costs Class fees do not include firing or material costs. These are payable upon collection of your finished work. Work Collection & Storage Completed work will be stored for up to 3 months. After this period, uncollected items will be considered unwanted and disposed of. If you're planning to return for glazing or have any concerns about storing your work, please get in touch so we can make arrangements. Studio Conduct & Safety Classes are suitable for ages 16 and up unless otherwise specified. All participants are expected to help maintain a safe and welcoming studio environment. Please be mindful of others, share space respectfully, and follow any safety instructions provided during your session. If you have any accessibility needs or special requirements, let us know in advance so we can accommodate you.
