About Us

About Blue Hare Studios
Blue Hare Studios began in Hayley’s back garden in 2014 and has since grown into a thriving community of pottery enthusiasts. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and inclusive space where people from all walks of life can come together to explore the art of ceramics.
Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. To minimize waste, all clay scraps are reclaimed and reused, and we repurpose or recycle packaging materials whenever possible.
Our studio also features a gallery showcasing a beautiful selection of handcrafted ceramics, from functional pieces to decorative works, all available to buy.
Meet Hayley
Hayley runs the studio and teaches our hand-building classes. She studied at Somerset College before continuing her training at Plymouth College of Art. Her work is diverse, spanning from sculpted animals and portrait heads to functional cups and plates— keeping her skills fresh for both her own practice and her teaching.
Passionate about sharing her knowledge, Hayley is dedicated to supporting each individual’s creative journey, encouraging personal expression and skill development in every class.
Come and be part of the Blue Hare Studios community—where creativity, craftsmanship, and connection come to life!
