Service Description
We’re excited to welcome a special guest tutor — one of our very own talented students — who will be teaching a beautiful alternative decorating technique using printed slips and underglazes on leather hard clay. In this hands on workshop, you’ll learn how to transfer printed designs, layer colour, and create striking surface patterns that make your pottery truly unique. What you can bring: • Your own leather hard creation * • Or purchase a premade plate or thrown cylinder vase. Perfect for: beginners, improvers, and anyone curious about expanding their decorating toolkit. You’ll learn: • Printed slip techniques • Underglaze layering • Working with leather hard clay • Creating repeat patterns Come along, experiment, and create a beautifully decorated piece ready for firing. Usual firing charges apply *work should have a smooth, flat or gently curved surface to apply transfers to. Items such as plates, tiles, cups and vases would all be suitable.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations & Rescheduling Bookings for classes may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 7 days prior to the scheduled session. Within 0–7 days of the class, cancellations are not permitted. Firing & Material Costs The classes include reasonable clay and glazes. Class fees do not include firing costs, unless specified in the class description. These are payable upon collection of your finished work. Work Collection & Storage Completed work will be stored for up to 3 months. After this period, uncollected items will be considered unwanted and disposed of. If you're planning to return for glazing or have any concerns about storing your work, please get in touch so we can make arrangements. Studio Conduct & Safety Classes are suitable for ages 16 and up unless otherwise specified. All participants are expected to help maintain a safe and welcoming studio environment. Please be mindful of others, share space respectfully, and follow any safety instructions given. If you have any accessibility needs or special requirements, let us know in advance.
