Service Description
This 6-week course offers a comprehensive introduction to working with clay, covering various hand-building techniques as well as an introduction to the pottery wheel. Each week includes a demonstration and detailed instructions. All clay is included, but there is a small charge for firing completed pieces (see FAQs for details). Week 1 slab built cup or vase Week 2 sculpture Week 3 finish and hollow sculpture Week 4 pinch and coil/ wheel throwing Week 5 pinch and coil/ wheel throwing Week 6 glazing Classes are small, so there is plenty of one to one tuition. Your pieces will be fired in the kiln for you and ready to collect in 2-3 weeks after glazing. Pottery, particularly throwing, can be very messy, so wear suitable old clothes that you don’t mind getting messy. An apron and an old towel to wipe your hands is recommended.

Cancellation Policy
classes bookings can be cancelled with a 10% cancelation fee up to 7 days before the booking. Regular classes can be rescheduled for no additional cost up to 7 days before the booking. Classes can not be cancelled or rescheduled 0-7 days before the booking. if you are unable to attend a scheduled class you may be offered discretionary untaught time on the wheel to compensateno other alternatives are available.
